Kanwal is a distinguished entrepreneur, investor, and seasoned business executive, bringing a wealth of experience and expertise to Diamond Dreams Academy. As the Founder and CEO, Mr. Sra is at the forefront of the Academy’s mission of elevating baseball in India and building future leaders who will positively impact their communities.

A visionary in sports, Kanwal founded the United International Baseball League (UIBL) in 2021 to inspire two billion new fans to fall in love with baseball and help share the beauty and heritage of the game with a part of the world that has yet to fully embrace it - India, Pakistan, and the Middle East.

A Certified Public Accountant and graduate of New York University, Kanwal began his career on Wall Street, where he honed his skills in the securities industry with prestigious firms like Shearson Lehman. He further solidified his expertise by holding key financial roles, including Controller of Prudential Global Funding and Senior Manager at Ernst & Young LLP, before stepping into the role of Chief Executive Officer at WR Lazard, the largest minority-owned investment banking and broker-dealer firm.

As a seasoned entrepreneur, Mr. Sra co-founded TaxOsphere, a New York-based tax company that rapidly expanded to 50 branches across 22 states. Under his leadership, TaxOsphere merged with Jackson Hewitt Tax Services, the second-largest tax franchise in the United States. Mr. Sra also serves as the Managing Partner at K SRA CPA PC, a full-service accounting and financial consulting firm. In 2020 Mr. Sra Co-Founded and is Chief Executive Officer of Unicorn Media Partners a Health, Hygiene and Pharmaceutical company.

In addition to his entrepreneurial ventures, he is the President and Chairman of the Indo-American Business Council USA and serves on the boards of several charitable organizations. Kanwal was the Economic Advisor to Nassau County appointed by County Executive.
